Overview
PathGuard helps you test affiliate links by opening them in a headless browser, following redirects, and reporting on cookies and tracking behavior. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and your choices.
Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email, and authentication identifiers from our auth provider.
- Billing data: customer IDs, subscription status, and usage events handled by Stripe.
- Scan inputs: affiliate URLs you submit, scan types, and configuration options.
- Scan outputs: redirect chains, landing status codes, cookie metadata, and health scores.
- Usage and diagnostics: logs, timestamps, and IP-based rate limiting for anonymous usage.
Cookie Data Handling
PathGuard records cookie names, domains, flags, and expiries to determine whether tracking is working. Cookie values are redacted where possible and are not used to build user profiles.
How We Use Data
- To run scans and generate shareable reports.
- To authenticate users and secure access to dashboards.
- To meter usage and process payments.
- To maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
Subprocessors
We rely on third-party providers for authentication, billing, database hosting, and browser automation. See the Subprocessors page for the current list.
Data Retention
We retain scan reports and usage data to provide your history and billing records. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
Your Choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. You can also disable analytics cookies through your browser settings.
